How
much do you require for a deposit?
A $200.00 deposit or half of the total package holds the date
of your event. The balance is due 3 days before the event (or
day of event with prior approval by us).
What
time do you arrive to set up?
In most cases one (1) hour or earlier prior to the beginning
of your event to give us plenty of time to set up and test our
equipment. If you require and earlier set up (where we will have
to make more than one trip to the event site) this is subject
to an additional fee.
What
type of music will you play?
We have an extensive music and video music library. The music
we play is based on your request (especially for special dances
by the bridal party), however, we also take into consideration
the age of the crowd, our professional judgement, and knowing
what gets people out on the dance floor.
What
type of attire will WNYSound.com's DJ's be wearing?
Our DJ's will be dressed in formal attire (tuxedo's) unless otherwise
stated by you.
What
does your basic equipment include?
We contour our sound system to meet the needs of your event without
over-powering or under-powering the reception or party room. We
use State-Of-The-Art digital sound equipment and wireless microphones.
Do
you have back-up equipment?
Yes, we do. We always carry a full back-up and complete back-up
of our equipment in case of any type of failure.
Can
you assist us with the music planning of our reception/party?
Absolutely! Our website contains lists of several top 50 &
100 genres of music for you to download
and print. We also suggest that you start writing down your
favorite songs, and songs that you hear on the radio. When you
book an event with WNYSound.com, you will receive a list of questions
from us. Please mail that list back to us about one (1) month
prior to your event so we can be prepared for your event. We can
also arrange to meet with you to discuss any special requests.
